Transgender studenst have to navigate so many different systems here at UC, and this guide gives you an all-inclusive look at UC policies, procedures, and looks to forms and other info help to transgender students at UC. We just updated it in May to reflect the new Gender Neutral Restrooms policy and Gender-Marker Change policy, so check it out!

Supporting Transgender Students
This is an amazing and helpful brochure made by a member of GenderBloc to be a resource for UC faculty and staff to better understand how to support and be an ally to their transgender students. We found it is really helpful to email this to your teacher when informing them that your name and pronoun may differ from what shows up on their syllabus! Check it out!

Gender Neutral Restrooms on UC's Campus
There are many single user restrooms throughout campus, some are gendered and some are non-gendered or gender neutral. UC's Department of Planning, Designing, and Construction is committed to meeting the diverse needs of UC's students and has created a policy that requires any new building at UC to have at least one gender neutral restroom (see full policy below). They also plan to change the signage on all single-user restrooms to make them gender neutral by fall 2010. Some of these restrooms can be a bit tricky to find, so check out the list of them all below.Updated list coming soon!
